World Central Kitchen (WCK) has a proven track record of providing rapid, effective, and compassionate relief in the wake of natural disasters, including wildfires. With their presence during the recent fires in Los Angeles, WCK has been delivering fresh, nourishing meals to first responders, evacuees, and affected communities. Their mission aligns perfectly with our values at Hourglass Coaching Baltimore—supporting resilience, community care, and practical solutions in times of crisis. By donating to WCK, we are helping ensure that those impacted by the LA fires receive the sustenance and support they need to rebuild and recover.
FEBRUARY 2025 BARCS (Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter)
BARCS stands as a beacon of hope and compassion in our Baltimore community, providing essential shelter and care to over 12,000 homeless animals each year. As an open-admission shelter, they never turn away an animal in need, exemplifying the kind of unconditional support and dedication that resonates deeply with our values at Hourglass Coaching Baltimore. Their commitment goes beyond basic shelter—they provide vital medical care, loving attention, and family preservation programs that keep pets with their families during times of crisis. Every day, BARCS works tirelessly to create second chances for hundreds of animals while supporting pet owners through challenging circumstances. By contributing to BARCS this month, we're investing in the heart of our community, ensuring that every animal that comes through their doors receives the care, love, and opportunity they deserve.
